Definition of Kinism
Kinism is the belief that the God-ordained social order
for man is tribal and ethnic rather than imperial and universal. Mankind was
designed by its Creator and Law Giver to live and to thrive in extended family
groups, and all other "alternatives" to this pattern are inhibitory
of the chief end of man, which is to Glorify God and to enjoy life with Him
forever.
--from the "Manifesto" of the Kinist
Institute from their website: http://kinism.net/
The ungodly
implications of this "statement of principle" are at least these:
1. The goal
of real Christianity must be to see that the world is divided into extended
family groups and anything against this order is inhibitory of the chief end of
man, and therefore sinful and wicked, according to the Kinist's
own words. NOTE: This was the pattern of the church
of Rome that was under the tyranny of the tribal heads of Italian families for
centuries. These tribal heads elected Popes, bought and sold office, and
thoroughly corrupted the church, so that even the reforms that came later have
not been able to purge the church from the corruption of the
"families."
2. There is
to be no other criteria for this arrangement except tribal [family] and ethnic
matters. Whether you eat hot chili peppers on a regular basis is more
important than that you read your bible every day, for the former is ethnic,
the other is universal, and universals cannot be the criteria for the social
arrangement. In the name of tribal integrity, the tribe is absolutized, and all must be subject to the tribe.
Ethnicity is absolutized in the name of preserving
it, so that every man's ethnicity is divided from and at war with every other
ethnicity, a Balkanization of the world and destruction of any hope of peace
and order except that of conquest and subjugation. Ideas have
consequences and the consequences of this perverse idea would be great indeed.
3. Any
person, man or woman, who leaves the extended family group is in disobedience
to God's order and is sinful and wicked and inhibits the chief end of
man. This principal is in direct defiance of the words of our Lord
Jesus: "Lu 14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father,
and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own
life also, he cannot be my disciple." It is also contrary to the
words of Paul, speaking of natural, family, and tribal and ethnic
matters: Phil 3: "3 For we are the
circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and
have no confidence in the flesh. 4 ¶ Though I might
also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh
that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the
eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the
Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the
church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7 But what things
were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count
all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my
Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but
dung, that I may win Christ, 9 ¶ And be found in him, not having mine own
righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of
Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"
4. There is
an explicit and evil denial of the biblical designation of the magistrate as
having authority from God according to Romans 13; Titus 3:1; 1Pet.
2:13-17. The division into tribal nations at the Tower of Babel is
said to be God's created order, because it was by God providence and
foreknowledge that this event occurred and was not punishment for sin; By the same token it could be argued that Imperial
Rome came into power by the providence and foreknowledge of God and is an order
that replaced the old tribal order and even Jesus affirmed its
legitimacy. Under Kinism, the old tribal order
is absolutized and God's future providence and
unfolding of His mystery is made subject to the tribe. Everything was
fixed at Babel, and not even Sinai can change it; and certainly not the Gospel.
God has bound His own hands. This is fatalism with a vengeance and
has nothing to do with the sovereignty of God. We might as well argue
that it was God's will for the men of Israel to demand a king and leave the old
order, because God foreknew it and ordained it. Hence, Solomon's tyranny
was not punishment from God as Samuel had warned, but the best order for
Israel, because it was providential. This doctrine of providence removes
all sin and responsibility from man and is more akin to the fatalism of
Muhammad, "It is the will of Allah." There will be
Christians who will hoist Kinism by its own petard
and claim that the new socialist order when it comes is providential and
therefore of the will of God.
5. There is a
wicked denial of the words of our Lord in Mt 22:21 to "render to Caesar
the things that are Caesar, and unto God the things that are God's."
How can the things of Caesar be Caesar's when he gained them by conquest over
other families and brought them into slavery? Slavery itself must be ok,
then, for that also arose by the providence and foresight of God. What
was cannot be the judge of what is.
6. This
social order replaces covenant with genetics in the order of mankind.
Instead of an order based upon words and faith, it substitutes an order based
on genetics and ethnic forms, which places it directly opposed to the kingdom
of God. Jesus said that He would build His church upon the truth that
"He is the Christ, the son of the Living God." This is
organization on the basis of truth and principle and faith, revealed by the
Holy Spirit, and not by sexual procreation. This would completely leave
the Ethiopian Eunuch out of the kingdom because no matter who taught him the
meaning of Is. 52 and 53, he could not do "reformed evangelism" and
could therefore have no part in the kingdom of heaven. Paul was out of
line to baptize a whole household on the basis of the confession of Lydia,
there being no man in sight, only women at the riverside in Philippi. Paul
should have known better than to deal with a bunch of women.
7. It is a
denial of the social order affirmed by Christ Himself that is according to the
kingdom of God and not patterned after the tribal, ethnic, fallen spirit of the
world: Mt 12:50 "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which
is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." This
trumps ethnicity and tribalism and sets the kingdom of God against those who
glory in the flesh and the natural seed. The seed of the kingdom is the
word of God, not the semen of tribal chiefs. But if the semen of tribal
chiefs trumps the word and will of God, then the gospel must be spread by
armies, not by missionaries. Rome has already modeled this for the world.
8. This
principle elevates the family and tribe to an absolute that must judge all
others. Patriarchy is the rule of the day, and extended families will be
under the absolute rule of the chief priest, mediator, and judge and there is
no appeal above the patriarch or tribal chief. There can be no rule of
the Spirit, for the genes rule everything. Hence, whole families are to
be exterminated like the families of Korah and Achan for the sin of the patriarch, and blessings come from
obedience to the patriarch if you are fortunate enough to be born to a good
guy. But providence, not grace and regeneration, is the norm. Tough it out. Girls must stay at home forever if Dad
cannot find a suitable mate for them. Logically, the boys should, too,
but they have a curious exemption, no matter how much of the devil's work they
do. Even the church comes under the absolute rule of the family, and the
only church is that which is ruled by the tribal heads who
exercise spiritual tyranny over the lesser members of the tribe and used armies
of kings to subjugate other tribes, as Papal Rome did for centuries under the
tyranny of Italian tribal heads. The lesson of Eli is ignored, for he absolutized his family in the priesthood to the shame of
the worship of God.
9. The
principle denies the covenant headship of Christ and intrude
a genetic mediator, the tribal patriarch, between the soul of the believer and
Christ. There is only one mediator between God and man, the man Christ
Jesus. No person has a "head" that can intrude between his soul
and God and any biblical social order must recognize that if it is not to be
anti-Christ. The husband is not the wife's priest, nor the children's
priest. The patriarch is not the priest of his extended family. Christ is
the Lord of the church and the kingdom of God and those who would intrude
themselves between the soul of any man or woman and God must bear the judgment
of God for that usurpation. Governmental heads are limited and
ministerial and are not the same as covenant heads. There are only two
covenant heads in the history of the world who acted absolutely for all their
posterity: the First Adam and the Last Adam and their mediatorial acts extend
to every one of their offspring. Not even Abraham's righteousness could
secure the righteousness of all his children; the blessing came from election
and grace, not by Abraham's semen. The blessing extended only to Isaac,
and then to Jacob. It was election, not genetics. Abraham also
refutes Kinism, for he gave gifts to his sons of the
flesh and sent them away; His social arrangement was not tribal, but a
society based on promise.
9. This
social order desired by Kinism is directly opposed by
the clear statement of Scripture, a few which follow:
Dan. 4:17
"This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word
of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth
up over it the basest of men." NOTE: Nebuchadnezzar held his
Babylonian Kingdom by the providence and will of God. How do we know that
this is not normative, rather than the tribe?
Ephesians
3:3 "How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote
afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in
the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons
of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the
Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and
partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"
Eph. 1:9
"Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good
pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:10 That in the dispensation of the
fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both
which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"
Re 5:9 "And
they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the
seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed
us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and
nation;" NOTE: we are redeemed "out of"
fulfilling the words of Christ in the next quoted passage:
John 10:15 "As
the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and
I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of
this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there
shall be one fold, and one shepherd."
John 1:11 "He
came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of
blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
NOTE: The children of God are those that are born
"not of blood" [tribal procreation], nor of the will of the flesh
[moral choices], nor of the will of man [collective agreement].

That which is born
of the flesh is flesh and those social orders which are based upon the flesh
are certain to reap the fruit of the flesh which is Gal. 5: "19 Now the
works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of
the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they
which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
